Our workshops are designed for beginners and creative enthusiasts of all skill levels. Whether you're picking up a paintbrush or calligraphy pen for the first time or simply looking to explore a new creative hobby, you'll feel right at home.
Not at all. No previous experience is required. Each workshop includes step-by-step instruction, and I'll guide you through every stage of the creative process.
Yes! All professional-quality materials and supplies are included with your workshop, so simply bring yourself and enjoy the experience.
- Modern Calligraphy: Approximately 2 hours (including a short break)
- Watercolor: Approximately 90 minutes
You'll leave with your completed artwork and the confidence to continue creating at home.
For the calligraphy workshop, you will have the option to purchase your starter kit, including your pen holder, nib, ink, practice pad and a Paradise Ink tote.
Workshops are held at Paradise Ink Calligraphy Studio & Design at the Rainbow Plaza in Kalaheo, Kauaʻi
Yes, complimentary parking is available for all workshop participants.
Absolutely! Private workshops are available for individuals, couples, families, bridal parties, birthdays, corporate events, and other special occasions.
We offer select workshops designed specifically for children and families. Please check the workshop description for age recommendations.
Yes! We love hosting private creative experiences for bridal showers, birthdays, corporate events, retreats, and other special gatherings. Contact us to create a custom workshop tailored to your group.
Due to limited class sizes, workshop registrations are non-refundable. If you're unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to transfer your registration to another workshop if space is available.
Absolutely! Our workshops are a wonderful way for both visitors and locals to enjoy a unique creative experience while on the island.
Yes! Select workshop materials and recommended supplies may be available for purchase so you can continue creating at home.
Absolutely. Each workshop is designed to teach foundational skills while helping you complete a beautiful project you'll be proud to take home. You'll also receive guidance and resources to continue practicing after class.
